Jonathan Lander
Chief Executive Officer [December 2002 - august 2023]
Jonathan co-founded Volvere plc with his brother, Nick, in 2002 and went on to lead the Group for more than 20 years. He died peacefully after a short illness, which he fought with courage, in August 2023 at the age of 55.
His experience prior to founding Volvere included 10 years with Credit Suisse First Boston, SG Warburg and Nomura. In 1998 he founded D2L Capital, a London-based Technology venture capital firm. He held an M.A. in Law from Cambridge University and was a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Jonathan’s intellect, insight and instinct allowed him to
contribute to the many businesses with which Volvere was involved. A meeting with Jonathan was always one to remember. His leadership ensured Volvere’s sustained success over a long period and many have benefited from his wisdom and talent.
